2010 High School Season
Any thoughts about the upcoming Girls or Boys High School Seasons this year?
Will Blacksburg boys repeat?
Who looks good on the girl's side?
Who will be the surprise teams?

On this side of the state in public schools, I would say;
Sgl A favorites would be Radford boys and girls
Dbl A favorites would be Blacksburg, Jefferson Forest, and Charlottesville boys. Cave Spring will have a strong showing with plenty of juniors and
seniors. Hidden Valley has a new coach to stimulate the program.
Dbl A girls should favor HV with plenty of talent, but Blacksburg, Salem, and CS will contend.
Triple A favors Patrick Henry for both genders, but keep an eye on Lynchburg too.
AAA state champs will be Cox again.

Single A Clinch Mtn District will be a battle between Gate City and Virginia High, all will depend on who can score goals, defense will be the rule.

Will your Juniors team be playing any tough pre-district games to help prepare for Region and State run at the end of the Year. My juniors team will
be head for VA Beach for some early season tests.

Not trying to be smart just wondering? I am thinking the Virgina High girls won a quar two years ago. Not sure? What about the boys?

Girls have made the Quarterfinals two straight years, losing both games. The guys won their q-final last year, but fell in the semis

Just got a sneak peek at the schedule. First game is March 25th and the only non-district games are two home-away series against Providence Academy
(in JC) and Abingdon. No preseason stuff yet, fairly basic schedule.

we have one of the best player in the region up top. no one has stopped him yet. I think her averages 2-3 goals a game. We have a solid back four.
our center mid field is the strong point. the guys will keep you under constant pressure and distribute the ball well.
We will show all when we defeat cosby tonight!

we are one of the top teams in the region creditablly the top team. we should have no problems with dale this year. i mean really they are ranked 25th
or something in the country and they lost to atlee.
